Suzanne started her yoga practice with a Rodney Yee VHS tape in her apartment in Kansas in the 90’s. In 2009, she ventured into a yoga teacher training interested and curious about body mechanics and yoga philosophy.
Since then, she has honed her expertise through advanced training with Jason Crandell and continuous learning from Leslie Kaminoff and Gil Hedley. Her curiosity even lead her to complete her Physical Therapist Assistant degree – where she spends her time when off the mat. Suzanne facilitates continuing education to yoga teachers on anatomy and functional mobility as well as public and private vinyasa, hatha and yin classes.
Known for her ability to empower students with simple language, humor, and innovative instruction, Suzanne crafts classes that are both balanced and precise, without ever feeling monotonous. By integrating yoga wisdom with her background in physical therapy, she creates a space for students to suspend judgment, alleviate stress, embrace their individuality, and empower personal growth both on and off the mat.
